What It Is / How It Works

Magnetic car phone holders are mounts that hold a phone inside a vehicle so it stays within view for navigation or calls. Holders of this type are usually fixed to a dashboard, air vent or windscreen, and a magnet is what keeps the phone in position. Because the phone must sit against the magnet, the phone model and any case used matter when choosing one.

Who It's For / Use Cases

Magnetic car phone holders suit drivers who want a phone at a steady height while driving, for example when following GPS directions or taking calls hands-free. They also suit passengers who use a phone for maps during a trip. People who prefer a phone kept in a fixed spot in the car will find this type of holder practical.

How to Use / Care

1. Use it to hold a phone in a car.
2. Place the phone against the magnet on the holder so it is held in place.

How to Choose

Start by checking that your phone model is among those listed under Compatible models in Product Specifications, since the phone and any case affect how well a magnet holds it. A holder that matches your phone and your mounting spot is the right choice for hands-free use.
