What It Is / How It Works

This is an M1 steel pinion motor gear for 1/10, 1/8 and 1/7 scale RC model cars. It is sold as one piece.

Who It's For / Use Cases

Pinion gears like this suit RC hobbyists who maintain or rebuild 1/10, 1/8 or 1/7 scale model cars and need a replacement motor pinion. Hobbyists who experiment with gearing often keep several tooth counts on hand so they can swap sizes between runs.

How to Use / Care

1. Use it as a motor pinion gear on a 1/10, 1/8 or 1/7 scale RC model car.

How to Choose

Pick the tooth count by matching the pinion to the spur gear and gear ratio your car already uses. Smaller tooth counts raise the gear ratio while larger counts lower it, so choose a size from the listed range that fits your setup. Make sure the 5mm bore matches your motor shaft before you buy.
