What It Is / How It Works

This rearview mirror cover is a side mirror cap for the outside mirror housing of a Volkswagen Golf 7 (MK7 7.5 GTI R GTE GTD). It is for the 2013-2020 model years. Side mirror caps are covers for the housing and do not replace the mirror itself or its adjustment parts.

Who It's For / Use Cases

Side mirror caps suit owners who want to update the look of the outside mirror area without replacing the mirror assembly. They suit drivers who want a simple cover for the housing rather than a new mirror, and owners who prefer a change that stays on the outside of the car.

How to Use / Care

1. Use it to cover the side mirror housing on the car.

How to Choose

When choosing a side mirror cap, start with the car. Match the model year and generation to the Golf 7 (MK7 7.5 GTI R GTE GTD) listing and to the 2013-2020 range shown in Specifications. Pick a cover for the outside housing if you want a cosmetic change, since the cap does not replace the mirror itself.
